As a member of the Core Fixed Income Team, David has co-responsibilities for the overall management of corporate credit risk exposure, primarily in investment grade credit, structured bonds, hybrids and preferred shares, across all distribution channels.

David has been with Scotia Global Asset Management since 2000 and has developed a disciplined approach to fixed-income investing with a focus on generating and implementing value-added trade ideas, providing valuable input into sector and security selection, conducting in-depth, fundamental research and trade execution, along with providing insightful macroeconomic analysis.

David received his Honours degree in Economics from York University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder.
